The effect of using Femal in combination with other supplements or medications has not been studied. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns about using Femal with an existing medication you may be taking.

Femal’s active agent is composed of PureCyTonin® complexes (purified pollen extract). The pollen and pistil are grown from selected species (Poaceae, grasses) and harvested separately according to a standardised procedure.

The pollen undergoes a unique, patented process which enables the allergenic shell to be removed. By removing this shell, the risk of allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to Femal is reduced to low. To date, no known allergens have been identified in relation to Femal, however there have been no formal studies conducted in women with atopic (allergic) conditions.

Should you develop any signs or symptoms of an allergic reaction (e.g. rash, wheeze), please seek medical assistance as soon as possible.

The manufacturing process for Femal has been designed to reduce the risk of any allergens being present. No significant allergic reactions have been reported to date. In order to maintain the positive effects from Femal, it is important that it is taken continuously. There are no limitations on the length of time that Femal may be taken, however no long term studies have been conducted.

The exact mode of action of Femal is unclear. One hypothesis is that it works via the serotonin system to increase the effects on serotonergic neurons. The menopause is often associated with a dysfunction in the serotonergic neurotransmission system. By addressing this imbalance, the hypothesis is that Femal helps to support women through this time of change.

However, the exact relationship between hormonal and serotonergic systems in the menpausal and postmenopausal stages needs to be explored further before any specific mechanism of action can be assigned.

If no one is available at your address to take delivery of Femal and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, the selected delivery provider will leave you a note informing you of how to rearrange delivery or collect the products from a local depot

If you have a dispatch notification there should be a tracking number included where you can track your parcel. Please note that once it leaves our distribution centre your order is in the hands of DPD/Royal Mail depending upon the option selected at checkout. If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

You have a statutory 'cooling-off' right which entitles you to cancel your order within 14 days of product receipt (certain exceptions apply).
